Notifications

A notification you can answer

When an agent needs you, AgentNod posts a macOS notification that names the session and what it wants. Allow, Deny and Deny with a note are buttons on the banner, so you answer without opening anything.

What arrives

A request. The title is the session's name, the subtitle is the agent, folder and branch, and the body is the event, for example "Wants to run a command · read-only". The command and the diff are on the card.

A question. One question gets a text field on the banner. Several questions open the card.

A destructive request. The banner offers Open and Deny and no Allow, so you read the command on the card first.

A finished session. The banner carries the first sentence of the agent's last message. Click it to open the session.

A prompt left in the terminal. You get a banner for that too, so you know which window to go to.

When it stays quiet

Notifications can be limited to the times the HUD is not on the display you are using. A macOS Focus holds them, and so do the quiet hours you set. Decisions still land in the queue.

Sessions running in bypass or auto mode raise no cards, only completions.

Sounds are a separate switch.

Away from the Mac

The same requests can reach your phone as a push with Allow and Deny on it.
